MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN – Cemstone Products Company, Cemstone Concrete Materials, LLC, and Cemstone Ready Mix, Inc. (collectively “Cemstone”) has been given 44 national awards for its ready-mixed concrete facilities located in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa from the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRCMA) in both the gold and bronze categories.
The NRMCA Excellence in Safety Awards Program aims to foster safe practices at ready-mixed concrete plants across the nation and recognize those plants who have great safety records. The NRMCA Excellence in Safety Awards Program has three tiers: Gold, Silver and Bronze and awards are given based on the facilities’ merits on the latest OSHA/Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Incident Rate available for the ready-mixed concrete industry. The Gold level identifies facilities that have an incident rate equal to zero. The Bronze level Incident Rate >1/2 but < Total OSHA Incident Rate.
For 2024, Cemstone Concrete Materials, LLC received 25 Gold Awards, Cemstone Products Company received 12 Gold Awards, and Cemstone Ready Mix, Inc. received 6 Gold Awards. Cemstone Product Company also received 1 Bronze Award.
