RECEIVES THE 2025 NRMCA CARPENTER-MULLINGS AWARD
The Cemstone Companies is pleased to announce that Mike Brekken, Safety Director, received the 2025 NRMCA Carpenter-Mullings Award in Tucson, AZ at the NRMCA’s Annual Convention. The Carpenter-Mullings Award recipients are singled out for their outstanding lifetime contribution to the ready mixed concrete industry in the field of safety, environmental or operations.
Nominees may be ready mixed concrete company employees, manufacturers or suppliers to the industry or association staff members. They can be active, retired, or deceased. Nominations are tendered and reviewed annually; however, awards are only given when deemed appropriate by the SEO Committee. A task group of active past winners selected Mike as their 2025 award nominee, and Mike was then approved by the full committee at the fall SEO Committee Meeting. “It is always so exciting to see our employees earn awards like this. We are incredibly proud to have Mike on our team, this is an incredible milestone. Mike has led our industry leading Safety Program for the past 20 years.” said Tim Becken, President and Chief Operating Officer.
