Timothy Becken Receives The NRMCA Robert A. Garbini Chairman’s Award

Timothy (Tim) Becken, Senior Vice President of Operations, Cemstone, received the great honor of accepting the NRMCA (National Ready Mixed Concrete Association) Robert A. Garbini Chairman’s Award at the convention in Las Vegas, NV on March 8, 2020. This award is given in appreciation for extraordinary dedication and service to the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association at the sole discretion of the chairman of the NRMCA Board of Directors. The award is presented each year at the Annual Awards Breakfast in conjunction with the NRMCA Annual Convention in March.

Tim Becken has been with Cemstone Products since 1991. He served as President of Aggregate and Ready Mix Association of Minnesota (ARM) in 1996 and 2003. Becken continues to be a Producer Member of ARM. Becken joined the Board of Directors for RMC Research & Education Foundation in 2008 and served as Chairman in 2015. He was also involved on numerous committees such as Program, Finance and Administration. Becken continues to act as a Trustee for RMC Research & Education Foundation. Becken served many years on the NRMCA Board and Executive Committee. He has also chaired and served on numerous NRMCA standing committees including Educational Activities, Government Affairs, Vision Strategic Planning, and the Operations, Environmental & Safety committees. He has also served on the boards of the Minnesota Transportation Alliance and Healtheast Hospitals. Mr. Becken earned a BA from St. Olaf College, graduating cum laude.
