The Role of Technology & Strategic Partnerships
Innovation has always been at the heart of the Burnside Dairy. The introduction of advanced milking parlors significantly improved their efficiency. Additionally, they implemented a sophisticated manure management system to optimize nutrient recycling. “The goal is to have 6 to 7 months of storage in the lagoon, so we only need to apply manure during the spring and fall,” explains Paul. “This way, we maximize the nutrients from manure instead of viewing it as waste.”
When it came time to expand the manure pit and barn, Ashley Pattison, Project Manager for Komro Sales and Service, Durand, Wisconsin, knew they needed a reliable partner to work with. Enter Cemstone Ready Mix, represented by Bob Biederman, Account Representative since 1992. “When it came down to getting close to deciding, we let our local contractors know we were going to do this,” Ashley recalls. “Bob and his team were recommended for their excellent service and competitive pricing.” “Bob’s involvement was crucial in ensuring the success of the project. Due to the project’s constraints and schedule, I knew I needed a team that wouldn’t let us down,” Ashley says. “That’s why I reached out to Bob at Cemstone Ready Mix. From previous projects, I knew they would deliver.”
