Cemstone Expands Aggregate Mining Operations

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN – Cemstone Ready Mix, Inc., a leading ready-mixed concrete and aggregates company, is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of County Materials Corporation’s mining operations located in Spring Valley, Wisconsin on Monday, June 17, 2024. This strategic move marks Cemstone’s continued commitment to provide high quality products and services for the construction industry and local communities.

Cemstone, a longtime customer of the local quarry, is excited to maintain Spring Valley’s existing experienced team of miners and staff. The Spring Valley Quarry sits on 200-acres of property and will produce several decades of quality limestone products from its reserves. Cemstone plans to continue to provide superior products and service to County’s existing aggregates customers that are primarily comprised of ready-mixed concrete producers and manufacturers in Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota. While the location that opened in 2008 will remain open to the public, Cemstone plans to grow the operation by adding operational and delivery assets to enhance the customer service experience.
