AIA Minnesota CRAN Behind the Build Tour: Red Bud

Join the Residential Architecture Committee (a chapter of CRAN) on Friday, June 5 at 11:30 am for a CRAN Build the Build tour of an under-construction home in Little Canada designed by Kell Architects and built by Hampton Companies, with landscape architecture by Pebl Design.

“Red Bud” is a home designed for a client enthusiastic about sustainable design and building. The 1800 main level footprint is designed for aging-in-place with a lower level of 1,000 finished square feet for bonus living and guests. With Passive House concepts applied, the compact footprint is formed of SIP construction, high-efficiency mechanical systems including an ERV system and solar panels, triple-pane fiberglass windows and doors by Canadian manufacturer Duxton, and an envelope seal product by AeroBarrier.
