CDL Driver Training - Get Your CDL with Cemstone
Are you ready to drive your career in a new direction? Cemstone is hiring CDL driver trainees! In this role you will be enrolled in our 6-week PAID driver training program consisting of driving skills training, classroom and behind-the-wheel practice. Prior to starting the program, you must have a state certified CDL learner’s permit. At the conclusion of this training program, a successful candidate will have obtained a CDL Class A or B license and be ready to advance to a Cemstone CDL Driver.

In response to the driver shortage, which the American Trucking Association estimates to be around 80,000 for 2022, the Cemstone companies have launched an in-house CDL 9 Commercial Driver’s License. training program, becoming a federally registered training provider authorized by the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration).
The program uses a specially designed 6-week curriculum that combines the federally required theory, range and road competencies blended with company specific safety requirements and core competencies required of ready-mix drivers. This in-house program will help alleviate some of the burdens that people may face who want to obtain a CDL such as cost of tuition, time-off of work, time to complete the program and finding a job after graduation. Our goal is that this program will be sustainable in other areas of the company and provide a future to candidates who may not have had the opportunity otherwise to obtain a CDL due to economic and time constraints.
