Frank started with Cemstone in 2015 as a Ready-Mix Driver at the Columbus, MN facility, and was recently promoted to Account Representative.
What do you like about the industry?
I enjoy the fast pace and how the industry is always changing. There is never a dull moment.
What is your favorite memory of Cemstone?
I have a lot of memories from my time with Cemstone. I really can’t pick out a favorite one. The best memories will always be of the people I have had the chance to work with.
Share a story that stands out to you of your time with the company:
When I first started as a driver I quickly realized that my dispatcher was Nathan Hauser, someone I had worked with in the New London/Wilmar area back when I first got into this industry in 2001. I also became good friends with Brandon Miller when I moved down to the Eagan store. Our wives met at the 90th anniversary at the stadium and have been friends since.
Why Cemstone?
I have been in and out of the concrete industry since 2001. No matter who you worked for, Cemstone was a name that everyone knew. I got the opportunity to start working for Cemstone as a ready mix driver and since then have been allowed to fill various roles to expand my knowledge in this industry. I started as a Ready-Mix Driver, promoted to a Yard Operator/backup Batch Plant Operator, then promoted to the Cemstone Supply – Eagan, MN store as a Counter Representative. From there, I was promoted to the Store Lead, then the Store Manager, and most recently – an Account Representative for both concrete and supplies. The opportunities really are endless.
