“It is an honor for the Childs Road facility to be recognized for its environmental initiatives,” said John Dickey, Cemstone’s VP of Metro Operations. “Cemstone’s commitment to the environment will remain an important part of our mission as we go forward.”

Among the 10 Guiding Principles of Environmental Stewardship that illustrate Cemstone’s environmental commitment are: a commitment by top management, compliance assurance, measurement and control improvement, training and development, awareness and outreach, and research and development.

“Cemstone is dedicated to reducing its environmental impact, and that is evident at our Childs Road facility,” said Pat Bergin, Cemstone’s Environmental Manager. “We have focused on quantifying this site’s water balance so as to make better design decisions as it relates to this and other facilities.”
